Your NHL Fantasy Three Stars for 3/11

1st Star, Ondrej Palat, Tampa Bay Lightning: The Lightning may have lost last night’s contest against Phoenix, but they defniitely had some bright spots. The brightest being Ondrej Palat. He had 2 goals in last night’s contest including a goal that forced overtime. He also had an assist which brought his SL point total to 37. 25 points higher than his average. Which also makes him our OVERACHIEVER OF THE NIGHT!

2nd Star, Jeff Zatkoff, Pittsburgh Penguins: Zatkoff was very solid last night helping the Pens knock off the Capitals 3-2. Zatkoff saved 31 of 33 shots giving him 31 SL points on the night, beating his average by 5 points.

3rd Star, Jason Spezza, Ottawa Senators: The Senators lost a close one last night against the Predators, but Spezza had himself a heck of a game. Spezza had 3 points on the night, including the overtime forcing goal. Which gave him an SL point total of 29. 17 higher than his average.

Underachiever of the Night…

Jaroslav Halak, Washington Capitals: Halak had a rough night behind the pipes in the 3-2 loss to the Penguins. If you went with Halak he only got you TWO SL points last night. He usually averages 22. Quite the dropoff.
