Wednesday’s NHL Daily Plays for 3/10 – 3/13

Jonas Hiller, Anaheim Ducks: Anaheim is on a bit of a skid currently, but they’re still in the hunt for the #1 seed in the Western Conference and they’ve already beaten Calgary twice this year. The Flames have also scored the least amount of goals in the Western Conference. I think I’m fairly confident in this pick tonight.

Brendan Gallagher, Montreal Canadians: Montreal leads the season series over Boston currently and Gallagher has had 3 assists in those games. Gallagher had a rough outing last time out, but I’m thinking he’ll bounce back quite nicely tonight.

Matt Duchene, Colorado Avalanche: Duchene currently has a an 8 game scoring streak, racking up 4 goals, 8 assists and a +7 during ice time. Chicago’s also been a tad weak on the penalty kill and Ducene is on Colorado’s top power-play line.

Bryan Littler, Winnipeg Jets: The Jets got knocked around their last time on the ice, but they get a Canucks team at home that should be a little easier for them to deal with. Little is a much better player at home as well.

Duncan Keith, Chicago Blackhawks: Keith has been a bit quiet lately, but you know what he’s capable of. Colorado is a bit shaky with their penalty kill and Keith essentially runs the Blackhawks first power-play unit. Also, Keith has had 5 assists against Colorado already this season.
