Top 10 Game Winning Shots of 2013-14 NBA Season.

We’ve closed the book on another NBA regular season, but before we close that book all the way we’re going to take a look at some of our favorite moments from the past season. Today? We’re looking at game winning shots. It’s the only play in basketball that can either tear the roof off of a stadium or completely take the air out of one. Probably my favorite play in any sport, let’s take a look at the top 10 game winning shots in the NBA this past season.

#10 Damian Lillard vs. Cleveland, 12/17/13 – Oakland’s finest import since the days of Jason Kidd & Gary Payton knocked down this cold blooded shot with just 0.4 seconds left in the game.

#9 Monta Ellis vs. Portland, 12/8/13 – After this game, Monta Ellis said “I told Vince Carter before we talked out there that if he gave me the ball, the game was over.” Welp.

#8 Randy Foye vs. Los Angeles Clippers, 2/2/14 – The Nuggets definitely didn’t draw it up like this and this was the definition of a prayer shot. But hey, at the end of the day it doesn’t matter how you won, just that you got it done.

#7 Stephen Curry vs. Dallas, 4/1/14 – Stephen Curry is a bad bad man. I’m sure you already knew that though, but this step-back dagger is a nice reminder.

#6 Russell Westbrook vs. Golden State, 11/29/13 – If I’m a young basketball player watching this game-winner, the main thing I take away is that if you hustle, anything is possible. Russell made this opportunity and took full advantage.

#5 Chris Bosh vs. Portland, 12/28/13 – No Lebron, no problem. Wade hits Bosh with the no-look pass and Bosh hits the dagger over 2 Blazers to seal the deal.

#4 Jeff Green vs. Miami, 11/9/13 – .6 seconds left to get a shot up against the superb defense of the Miami Heat, most players would chalk it up as a loss. Not Jeff Green, a fadeaway in the corner over King James would win this one for Boston. You’ve gotta see this one.

#3 Dirk Nowitzki vs New York, 2/24/14 – “probably the ugliest game-winner I ever shot.” – Dirk Nowitzki. “I didn’t even feel like celebrating it was so ugly.”

#2 Kevin Durant vs Toronto, 3/21/14 – KD lit up Toronto for 51, but the biggest 2 of those points came here. The likely MVP of the year proved his worth on this shot.

#1 LeBron James vs Golden State, 2/12/14 – King James the monster. A step back 3-pointer to send the Warriors homes fans unhappy? Killer.
