SideLeague’s MLB Fantasy Plays for 6.5

Doug Fister – The Philadelphia Phillies are awful at hitting right-handed pitchers. Like ALL the way bad. Fister has shaken off any rust and is ready to dominate this afternoon.

Jacob deGrom – I like him as my under the radar pitcher of the day. He gets an excellent matchup against the Cubs and he’s been very solid on the year.

Miguel Montero – Last night when the Diamondbacks & Rockies got together they combined for 24 runs. You should get some of these guys in your lineup for sure.

Chris Davis – Davis crushed one yesterday and the fact that he’s still in Texas makes it a great possibility that he hits another one tonight.

Scooter Gennett – Under the radar play with a current 4-game hitting streak. Need more reason? He’s hitting .500 during this streak.

David Wright – No offense Cubs fans, but Travis Wood has been the human equivalent of a tee in his last couple of starts. David Wright is 4-for-12 off of this tee in his career.

Ian Desmond – Desmond’s showing off some power as of late. He gets Kyle Kendrick today who he’s hit for .405 in his career.

Charlie Blackmon/Corey Dickerson – Again, last night, Rockies & Diamondbacks combined for 24 runs. Don’t be foolish, kids.
