Last night if you were a Cubs fan you appreciated the quick, easy W. If you’re a Giants fan, you’re a smidge bitter and rightfully so. What should have been a routine rain delay turned into a flood at Wrigley Field. It rained for about 10 minutes and then was delayed another 4 or so hours.
Eventually the umpires called the game at 2 am central time. I totally expect Giants manager Bruce Bochy to go ahead and protest this game. It won’t take the sting away right now Giants fans, but enjoy this video of the Cubs grounds crew fumbling all over the place while Yakety Sax plays in the background.
By the way, Yakety Sax may just be the funniest song ever. You can set it to almost anything and it becomes a comedy.
